Mr Blizzard

Mr Blizzard kindly displays the local art society's latest works in his shop window.
Mr Blizzard is the local optometrist - he's pretty old (80 something) but still practising. He seems like a very nice man.
Beautiful autumn weather lately (but FREEZING mornings!).

  1. I love all the reflection and light in this shot.

Course, it isn't quite as good as the poo and the bin ;-)

  3. There so many wonderful things to see in this photo! The delightful paintings in the window, plus the details of all the buildings in the reflection. I'm struggling to figure out what all the traffic and shop signs read though. I need to go hold my laptop up in front of a mirror! Thanks for the great slice of daily life in your town!

  4. Hello Letitia!

You have taken an interesting photo :)
I did not at first realize, what was going on.
    Did you buy anything?
Have a very nice weekend with your family!

  5. Hi Letitia! Sorry for the speedy visit! I’ve been busy the whole last week and will be out in the next, so this is far less than your blog deserves… ;(( But I promise I’ll come back with more time after June 10th, at least…
However, to avoid leaving you deserted, I published a last post on Marrakesh 2006 at Blogtrotter. Enjoy!

  6. JELLY - strangely enough - people liked the poo - not so much the bin.
Probably a bit of overkill with the more gross aspects of life.

  7. SONIA - can you see the red leaves of the grapevine?
We have these climbing on all the shopfront awnings down the main street.

  8. KATIE - one of those is McMahon's Shoes.
They have great bits and pieces.
I bought a fabulous burnt orange handbag from them.

  9. LEENA - yes, it's very busy, isn't it?
I ran outside for 2 minutes during my lunch break to see what I could find to point the camera at.
