First Choice

I think when it comes time to shuffle off this mortal coil, this will be my first choice of resting place.
It's up on the hill with views of the countryside all around.
Though, I'll probably have to rig up some type of periscope arrangement.

Fleeting

Where did the touch of spring go??
Freezing today and hailing (with deceiving sunny breaks).
Anyway...it's camellia season in Ararat.
I love camellias - they brighten up the grey days of winter.

Canna Lily (I Don't Know, Can It?)

Oh man, I have to grow some of these next year!
Aren't they beautiful?
They are Canna Lilies - they come in all kinds of beautiful, bright colours and look best in a mass planting.

Yes, definitely on my wish list for the garden for next year!

What a Day!!

Beautiful, beautiful weather today!
It's good to be alive (the alternative isn't much chop!).
The Ararat Rose Garden (beside the Performing Arts Centre).
I love roses!
They are so happy!
And roses love growing in Ararat - we have the perfect climate for them.

Sorry Day

What a wonderful day!
The day the Australian Parliament apologized to Indigenous Australians for the Stolen Generation.
One of the most moving days of my life.
I hope the wound on our Australian soul may now begin to heal.
